For the 2021 Fashion Revolution Week I joined 'RE-THINK FASHION', an event hosted by the CIROS Goodwill Committee at The Hague University. The fashion show and auction raised money for RE/MAKE, an NGO fighting for transparency within the fashion industry.
For my contribution, I reinterpreted a design from my Bachelor Collection 'Sane Insanity'. Implementing digital garment visualisation software, enabled me to visualize the colouway of the dress prior to making it. I hand-dyed the white cotton fabric using a natural logwood dye. The dress's sale contributed greatly to the total amount donated to RE/MAKE and is now very much cherished by its sweet owner.
